Trade fair venue

World of Tourism & Leisure takes place in Messe Kalkar. This is the ideal venue thanks to its central location on the border of Germany and the Netherlands. Messe Kalkar offers a 9,000 m2exhibition space, as well as an additional 20 meeting rooms and a large outdoor site.

What makes this venue special is the direct presence of three restaurants and six hotels (1,000 beds), so no time is lost on travelling to and from the venue during a multi-day stay. As a result, Messe Kalkar is able to offer an all-inclusive trade fair concept, with everything taken care of for trade fair exhibitors and participants.

Visitor service

World of Tourism & Leisure offers visitors special all-inclusive packages.

One-day visitor service:

•Free entry

•Snacks and drinks included

•Free parking

Two-day visitor service:

•One-day service x 2

•One-night’s hotel accommodation

•Breakfast x 1

The all-inclusive visitor services are a wonderful opportunity to give employees of your organisation the chance to participate in the programme and a hospitable way of entertaining special invited guests at the trade fair. Consequently, the two-day visitor service is part of the concrete offering to financial partners.

The initiators of World of Tourism & Leisure are Messe Kalkar and Leisure Experts. Messe Kalkar has its own venue, including restaurants, hotel and amusement park. Leisure Experts is its partner in the Netherlands and is responsible for the network of companies, governments and organisations and communication with potential visitors. Stichting Regionaal Bureau voor Toerisme Rivierenland is one of the Dutch tourism partners of the World of Tourism & Leisure initiative.
